theo solves a simple but relentless problem in Brazilian companies: everyone needs internal tools (customer records, project tracking, approval flows, sales dashboards) and almost no one has an IT team to build them. What’s left is spreadsheets + WhatsApp + email — which works until it doesn’t.

A platform where you describe the system you need in plain language, the AI generates the whole app (frontend, database, authentication, logic) in minutes, and you use it in the browser — no install, no server, no credit card.

Principles

Portuguese-first

The AI, the examples, the error messages, the docs — all native Portuguese. English shows up only where it has to (technical names, code). theo isn’t an American platform with a translation layer bolted on top. (This page is in English so you can get to know theo — the product itself speaks Portuguese natively.)

Everything in Brazil

Brazilian server, Brazilian database, Brazilian support. Your data stays here — which matters for LGPD (Brazil’s data-protection law), for latency, and for anyone who needs to show a client that the infrastructure is local.

Technical honesty

The AI gets things wrong. Generated apps sometimes need adjusting. We show that plainly — an error banner with an “auto-fix” button, a catalog of common issues, a log of what changed. No “magic” promises.

No trap

Free forever, no card. A paid plan only makes sense once the company grows and needs more. You own your app — you can export it, migrate it, take it with you.

Who’s behind it

theo is built by Rodrigo Krug and a small team in Porto Alegre, Brazil. No venture capital, no rush to an IPO — focused on making a product that helps real companies solve real problems.
